Message Most of gain is from getting rid of the stock tee where both sides are fighting for the air. Any dual pop that completely separates the two sides is allowing the turbo to suck with less restriction and will allow the turbo to move air easier.
Reading all the air with 2 maf's is the most accurate from car to car and is the most stable.
The ECU accepts changes easier with 2 MAF's as well when tuning.
The Selin Elbows are also less restriction because they are silicone with larger inside diameter because they go over the stock 2.5" intake pipes.
The aluminum elbows are thick cast parts that are much smaller inside diameter than the thin wall pipes the car has stock.
The Selin solution works the best and makes for the cleanest install hands down.
We have seen the large jump in power going to dual pops on stock cars for many years and it always works.
The old "you do not need a dual pop until you are over 500 HP" came from the fact that 500HP is the electronic limit of 5 volts, where you can not read any higher and add more fuel without splitting the electronic signal.
500 HP was simply the limit of the meter to measure and it got interpreted as you do not need it before that.
